The advert purports that Harafban is able to assist prospective University of Lagos graduates in gaining admission for a Masters Grant 2016. It claims to be in partnership with the University and the United Bank for Africa (UBA) and enjoined prospective applicants to undergo verification exercise at the Centre of Information Technology and Systems (CITS), University of Lagos at the cost of ten thousand Naira (N10,000).
The University would like to inform the general public and other stakeholders that the University has no relationship whatsoever with Harafban, neither is the University a party to its activities and has no prior knowledge of the advertorial in question. The general public is therefore enjoined to ignore the said advertorial as it is an attempt to defraud unsuspecting applicants.
